Two years ago a hookah-flavour disposable was a conversation starter on a supplier’s price list. This year it is a line item buyers reorder without asking questions. That shift changes how wholesale stock should be planned.
What follows is what we are seeing on the order side, not a market forecast.
The Question Changed
Buyers used to open with “do you have anything shisha-flavoured?” Now the first question is usually “how many shisha SKUs can you hold in stock this quarter?” That is a restocking question, not a discovery question. It means the buyer already sells the category and is deciding who keeps them supplied.
The practical consequence: flavour depth matters more than having one flagship SKU. A buyer replacing a sold-out line does not want a substitute in a different flavour profile.
Flavour Depth Is Now a Stocking Decision
Where a two-flavour range used to be acceptable, we now see orders spread across a wider spread of profiles in smaller quantities each. Two Apple and Lush Ice still lead, but the long tail is doing real volume.
- Core profiles — Two Apple, Lush Ice, Watermelon Cherry: ordered in carton multiples, restocked monthly
- Secondary profiles — mint and grape variants: ordered mixed, often as the swing line in a container
- Testing profiles — one or two cartons, ordered alongside a proven line rather than on their own
That pattern rewards suppliers who can mix flavours inside an order without treating the mixed carton as a favour.

Two Specifications Buyers Check First Now
Puff count still headlines a listing, but it is not what closes a reorder.
- Puff count under dual mode. Devices that switch between an economy mode and a power mode get asked for both numbers. A headline figure alone invites a complaint later. The VOZOL Pro T28 pattern — ECO 20K and POWER 15K — is now the format buyers expect to see quoted.
- Coil and battery spec, in plain terms. Mesh coil configuration and whether the device recharges over Type-C. “Rechargeable” is not enough; buyers want the port type because it ends up in their own retail listing.
Carton Structure Is the Real Differentiator
This is where the category got serious. Shisha disposables now move in retail-visible display packs in several markets, which changes the inner pack count and therefore the carton. A supplier who only stocks 200-unit master cartons will lose orders to a supplier who can also ship 50-unit shelf packs.
Ask for units per carton, gross weight, and cartons per pallet before quoting a container. If a container plan is built on assumed carton data, the re-pack usually happens at the forwarder.
What This Means for the Next Restocking Cycle
Three things are worth doing before the busy quarter:
- Confirm which flavours are genuinely in stock in carton quantities, and publish that number
- Fix the mixed-flavour ratio in writing, with a minimum per flavour
- Photograph packed cartons with a measuring reference, so the buyer’s forwarder has no surprises
WOOMI’s View
The shisha segment is moving from a novelty category to a stock category. Suppliers who treat it as a stock category — real inventory counts, real carton data, mixed-flavour orders as standard — will hold the reorders. Those who treat it as a one-off promotion will get one order and lose the next.
Next Step
Current stock counts, carton specs and mixed-flavour availability for ready to ship disposable vape programmes are available on request. Send your target quantity and destination port, and we will return packing data and lead time.
